About us.
The Georgetown Gazette is an independent student publication at Georgetown University and the newspaper of record of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in Qatar. Founded in 2018, the Gazette has served as a platform for Dunetop Hoyas and the wider Education City community to voice their thoughts and opinions or simply let their creative juices flow in a non-academic setting.

We aim to publish two to three issues per semester. The publication is currently run by Community Organizers, Alexa Bonjoc and Jannah Elgamal. Professor Firat Oruc currently serves as an advisor to the publication. To see the list of our current and past staff members, please visit the Masthead here.
